Lil Nas X was quick to express his frustration on social media about not receiving any nominations for the 2022 BET Awards… though he quickly erased them.

The 23-year-old musician has won two Grammy Awards with 11 nominations since bursting on the stage in 2020, though he only has one BET Awards nomination in 2020 for Best New Artist, which he lost to Roddy Ricch.

The rapper (born Montero Lamar Hill) took to Twitter on Wednesday shortly after the nominations were announced, calling out the awards show before deleting his tweets.

The openly-gay singer also responded to a fan, who asked why he thought he should have been nominated.

‘idk maybe 3 of the biggest songs of last year & a critically acclaimed album… i feel like that should’ve helped me a bit,’ he said.
